About the role:
Are you looking to build on your Data & Analytics career and become a part of a maturing team, wanting to make a difference? Well, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become our BI Analyst!
As our BI Analyst you will design and develop impactful data visualisation and insights for MAXIMUS UK BI customers, as well as Ad-hoc and Production reporting, support issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand user information requirements and develop powerful visualisation and reports
- Apply visualisation excellence and delivery of informative and impactful content
- Develop understanding of the business processes, application systems and data
- Engage with BI Partners and customers to understand requirements, test criteria, and success factors for impactful and actionable reporting and analysis
- Support high quality definition, design, development, testing and user adoption of BI
Ad-hoc & Production
- Support coordination and completion of ad-hoc information requests from BI customers
- Complete reliable reporting production processes and issue resolution
What we are looking for:
- Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
- Experienced in MS Excel for reporting and analysis
- Good knowledge of visualisation and analytical platforms
- Experience in working in Agile teams
- Ability to develop and deliver visualisation / reporting solutions as part of an overall team
- Ability to collaborate across BI / IT teams internally and externally to deliver projects
- Effective communication skills with a strong sense of prioritisation and time management
- Analytical skill set with an ability to interpret information requirements and design solutions
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Ability to work accurately under time pressure
