Join our passionate, values-driven clinical team at Maximus, a trusted provider of the DWP since 2015. We’re looking for a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Registered Mental Health Nurse to conduct health assessments and make a meaningful difference to people’s lives. This is a hybrid role with only a few days per week in an assessment centre.
What you need:
- A valid NMC registration (RGN, NP, RNLD or RMN)
- 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained in or out of the NHS
- Confidence conducting 3 phone, video or face-to-face health assessments each day whilst working independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce accurate, well-documented Personal Independence Payment (PIP) reports on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- Genuine empathy, professionalism and a desire to help customers move forward
- IT proficiency in order to manage digital systems for assessments and reporting
- You MUST have the right to work in the UK – we cannot offer sponsorship
