£40,000 – £46,000 + bonus + benefits

Milton Keynes + multi-site travel (3-4 days on-site per week)

12 month fixed term contract available for an experienced HR Advisor with a strong background in employee relations. This role focuses heavily on employee relations and will support a cluster of operational, blue-collar sites through a period of organisational change. It is ideal for someone confident managing a busy ER caseload within a unionised, multi-site environment. The ideal hire will live within easy reach of both Milton Keynes and the Midlands. You will work from the Milton Keynes office 1-2 days per week and travel to Midlands based sites twice per week (mileage paid). The remaining time can be worked from home.

The Role

  • Provide day to day HR support to managers
  • Manage a high-volume ER caseload (absence, grievances, disciplinaries, performance)
  • Support the HRBP with more complex casework
  • Build strong and credible relationships with operational leaders
  • Support HR projects, reporting and training initiatives
  • Travel to Midlands sites twice weekly
  • Attend the Milton Keynes office 1-2 days per week
  • Work from home on remaining days

What You'll Need

  • Strong employee relations experience
  • Background in blue-collar / operational environments
  • Union experience (essential)
  • Ability to work at pace and manage multiple cases
  • Confident communicator, able to influence managers at all levels
  • CIPD Level 5 desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable with regular travel across the Midlands
