A global, forward-thinking organisation is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Workforce Planning & Organizational Effectiveness to lead the design of a future-ready workforce. This is a high-impact, enterprise-level role operating at the intersection of strategy, talent, and technology. You will play a critical role in shaping how work gets done—redefining operating models, embedding AI and automation into workforce strategy, and ensuring the organisation has the capabilities needed to compete and grow in a rapidly evolving environment. Working closely with the Executive Team, you will translate business strategy into scalable workforce and organisational solutions that drive performance, efficiency, and long-term value.
What You’ll Do
- Enterprise Workforce Strategy
- Own and evolve a global workforce planning framework, aligning business strategy, financial planning, and technology transformation.
- Lead multi-year workforce scenario planning, modelling future skills, capacity, and capability needs.
- Embed AI, automation, and digital workforce assumptions into planning and decision-making.
- Leverage workforce analytics and insight to inform executive decisions and track progress.
- Organizational Effectiveness & Operating Model Design
- Design and optimise end-to-end operating models, including roles, decision rights, and structures.
- Partner with business leaders to simplify organisations and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Ensure alignment between organisational design and strategic priorities.
- Organizational Design & Work Architecture
- Shift the organisation from role-based structures to work- and skills-based models.
- Lead large-scale organisational redesign initiatives linked to growth, transformation, and digital enablement.
- Establish enterprise-wide standards, governance, and best practice.
- Workforce Transformation & Adoption
- Lead the change management and adoption agenda for workforce and operating model transformation.
- Build capability across leaders and HR teams to embed new ways of working.
- Ensure workforce implications of AI and emerging technologies are proactively addressed.
- Provide clear insights and recommendations to executive leadership on workforce risks and opportunities.
