We’re working with a high‑growth, global energy business that has built a strong reputation delivering energy solutions across key locations worldwide. The organisation continues its development with an innovative entrepreneurial approach, supported by a commercially focused relationship‑led culture. They’re now hiring a Senior Global HR Advisor for an approx. 14‑month FTC to cover maternity leave, starting this summer. Led by a highly credible HR leadership team, this role sits within a well‑established HR function supporting a high performing, globally distributed workforce (c.200 headcount).
You’ll partner closely with senior leaders across Commercial and Corporate functions, handling a broad operational remit while contributing to clearly defined people projects during an important phase of evolution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with Heads of Department across your portfolio
- Keeping HRBPs informed of operational themes and people insights to support quarterly people strategy discussions
- Providing day‑to‑day ER support, performance management and manager coaching
- Supporting planned restructures and sound, risk‑aware decision‑making
- Contributing to HR projects including global policy reviews, L&D roll‑out, bonus documentation and system enhancements (LMS/ATS/payroll)
- Managing operational HR activities such as monthly payroll and end‑to‑end maternity/paternity processes
- Involvement in recruitment processes and stakeholder interviews
- Occasional travel to meet stakeholders across Northern Europe (typically up to once per quarter)

- Proven experience as an HR Advisor / Junior HRBP in a commercial environment
- Comfortable balancing operational delivery with stakeholder engagement
- Confident advising senior leaders with a measured, constructive approach
- Strong ER capability with a calm, practical and risk‑aware mindset
- Exposure to international organisations and multiple jurisdictions
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in FS, energy, oil & gas, or similarly regulated sectors welcomed
- Spanish‑speaking – advantageous
