They are looking for a Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join their team to help sustain performance, protect their culture, and enable confident people management across the business. About the Role

As a Senior Employee Relations Advisor, you will play an integral role within the HR function, providing expert, pragmatic employee relations support across the business. You will independently manage a high volume of ER cases with varying levels of complexity and act as the central point of expertise for employment law and ER best practice across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for all ER queries, taking full ownership of disciplinary, grievance, performance, early conciliation, and employment tribunal cases.
  • Provide technical advice on restructures, redundancies, and organisational change.
  • Maintain accurate ER data, records, and HR systems in line with legal requirements.
  • Coach and advise managers to improve people management practices and confidence.
  • Embed ER processes that drive performance, fairness, and positive employee relations.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to design and deliver ER training for managers.
  • Facilitate training sessions to build capability and consistency across the organisation.
  • Support HR projects driven by external factors such as changes in employment law.
  • Proactively improve ER processes to create more efficient and effective ways of working.
  • Collaborate with HR specialists (L&D, Communications, Payroll) to ensure a cohesive people approach.
  • Prepare ER data for regular HR and board-level reporting.
  • Analyse trends and provide insights into risk, performance, and people outcomes.

About You
