The firm has built a market‑leading reputation in executive compensation and board advisory, supporting clients through increasingly complex governance, regulatory and investor landscapes. With a long‑standing and prestigious client portfolio – spanning FTSE listed organisations, high‑growth businesses and global enterprises – this is a team that sits at the forefront of executive reward strategy.
Due to continued growth, the business is looking to appoint a Manager within its Executive Compensation practice. This represents a unique opportunity to join a high‑performing, intellectually rigorous environment where you will work alongside some of the most experienced practitioners in the market. The role combines client leadership, technical depth, and strategic advisory – offering exceptional exposure to senior stakeholders and real influence on some of the most critical remuneration decisions organisations make. The culture is collaborative, inclusive and high‑trust, with a strong emphasis on development, progression and professional autonomy.
Working within a specialist Executive Compensation consulting team, you will advise clients on a broad range of board‑level and senior leadership reward matters. You will play a central role in delivering strategic projects, while also building and leading client relationships and contributing to the growth of the practice. This is a highly varied role spanning both strategic design and hands‑on delivery, with significant exposure to Remuneration Committees, Boards and senior executives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting the design of executive remuneration strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate performance and shareholder expectations
- Advising on incentive plan structures, including the selection of performance measures and modelling performance outcomes
- Supporting the design and implementation of cash and equity‑based incentive plans, incorporating tax, accounting and governance considerations
- Drafting and reviewing Directors’ Remuneration Reports and other regulatory disclosures
- Providing benchmarking analysis for executive and non‑executive director pay
- Preparing high‑quality Remuneration Committee papers and supporting board discussions
- Engaging with institutional investors and advising on investor relations matters related to executive pay
- Building strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on complex reward matters
- Contributing to business development activity, including proposal development and client growth initiatives
- Collaborating with wider specialist teams across reward, share schemes and global mobility
What we’re looking for:
You will bring demonstrable experience within executive compensation, ideally gained in a consulting environment or a specialist in‑house reward function supporting senior leadership and board‑level remuneration. You will have a strong technical grounding in executive pay, alongside the commercial awareness and judgement required to operate credibly with senior stakeholders.
Experience and capabilities will include:
- Proven experience advising on executive remuneration for listed or large, complex organisations
- Strong technical knowledge of UK executive remuneration regulation and governance requirements
- Experience across incentive design, performance metrics, and remuneration disclosures
- Ability to analyse complex data and translate it into clear, commercially relevant insight
- Experience preparing board‑level materials and engaging with senior stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge where appropriate
- A highly organised and proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive within team‑based delivery environments
What they’re offering:
A rare opportunity to work at the forefront of executive reward, advising some of the most influential organisations in the UK and globally. Exposure to board‑level and Remuneration Committee decision‑making. A highly respected and market‑leading executive compensation practice. Clear progression opportunities within a growing and high‑performing team. The chance to develop deep technical expertise while also building client leadership capability. A collaborative, inclusive culture that genuinely supports development and progression. Flexible and hybrid working environment with a central London base.
If you are an executive reward professional looking to deepen your expertise, build meaningful client relationships, and operate at the highest level of the market, we would be delighted to hear from you. For a confidential discussion or more information, please contact Nick Arnold at Frazer Jones.
