We are excited to partner with a leading FS business that is searching for an exceptional Interim Equity Compensation Specialist to spearhead the delivery of their equity compensation strategy. You will administer and manage the full lifecycle of equity compensation plans, including the preparation, review, and execution of grant agreements, exercise documents, and award modifications. Internal relationships are key to this role as you partner with finance, legal, tax, payroll, and the wider HR team to ensure timely and compliant processing of equity transactions, including tax withholding and reporting.
Manage and maintain accurate and timely equity data within their equity management platform and track vesting milestones, grant approvals, and reporting deadlines related to equity awards. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding equity compensation plans by providing timely, high-quality customer service and education on equity-related matters and generate regular reports on stock plan activity, grants, exercises, vesting, and forfeitures for finance and legal teams.
This role suits an equity compensation professional with 5+ years of experience and a strong grasp of stock-based compensation, accounting concepts, and equity management platforms. You will work confidently with complex data, using advanced Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Success in this role comes from collaborating effectively across finance, legal, tax, payroll, and HR, communicating clearly, and solving problems with a calm, organised approach.
