I am delighted to be supporting my client, a values-driven SAAS business embedded in the world of scientific and academic research, with an urgent need for a Global Head of Talent (Development and Management). This is an opportunity to partner with the business and support their EDI and ESG goals, Talent and L&D strategy, Career models and frameworks, and all things Talent Development. My client is remote-first, with occasional travel to London.

The role will entail:

  1. Partnering with all areas of the Global business to support talent development strategy and delivery, career models and pathways, Learning and Development, and performance management.
  2. Maintaining a high service level across the business, looking into ways of developing and retaining talent.
  3. Building a reputation as a trusted business partner and advisor in all things talent and learning.
  4. Contributing to the wider people strategy, backing up all decisions with data and maintaining strong commercial awareness.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  1. A degree in Organisational Psychology, HR, Business Administration, or related, OR comparable work experience.
  2. Proven track record in building talent strategy and framework from scratch in best practice environments as well as start-up / scaling business.
  3. Experience in designing and delivering career models and pathing frameworks, ideally within a scaling SAAS business.
  4. Ability to use data to guide your talent development strategy while maintaining commercial acumen and making financially sound decisions.
