Frazer Jones is delighted to be working with a Global manufacturing and engineering company based in Hampshire that is looking for a Head of HR to lead the UK.

Reporting to the Group HR Director and as a member of the UK SLT, you will lead a sizeable HR team supporting a headcount of c.1,100 across multiple sites in the UK. This is a broad generalist HR position with responsibility for all site HR activities. As such you will provide strategic support to the development and delivery of the HR strategy, policies, processes and procedures.

Key to this position will be your ability to work strategically and lead change, ensuring that you are engaging with stakeholders and bringing them ‘on the journey’. These changes will include areas such as performance, succession planning, talent development, leadership capability and competencies, and culture.

You will be working in a similar Engineering and Manufacturing environment as part of the senior leadership team across a large, innovative and complex organisation. With a generalist HR background, you will have led and delivered on all aspects of people strategy, managing and leading teams, and with a track record of delivering change programmes.

With a strategic and commercial growth mind-set you will be a strong communicator who is able to build relationships with key senior stakeholders. Experience of working within a TU environment and a strong knowledge of UK Employment Law would be an advantage.
