A leading financial services organisation is looking for an exceptional HR Business Partner to join their team. Acting as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to your client groups, this role will support up to Executive Committee and will have a pivotal contribution in setting and implementing people strategies. You will work closely with senior leaders in order to identify workforce trends, forecast future talent needs, and steer initiatives to promote a high-performance culture. This is a high impact role that will contribute to decision making at the highest levels.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and management teams in aligning people strategies with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Building strong and collaborative relationships with senior leaders and line managers.
  • Leading on the delivery of people initiatives and cyclical activities such as salary review, talent mapping, succession planning, engagement surveys and development strategies.
  • Influencing leaders in their decision making on people related strategies such as team development, engagement surveys and re-organisations.
  • Leading on workforce planning initiatives, forecasting future talent needs and integrating succession plans and leadership development.
  • Working alongside CoEs in order to identify resource needs and forecasting, budgeting and recruitment schedules.
  • Ensuring HR practices comply with UK employment law and financial services regulations (Conduct Rules and risk management frameworks).
  • Identifying regulatory risks in employment situations.
  • Keeping abreast of employment legislation and best practice, HR trends and any financial services regulatory changes.
  • Recommending and implementing HR process improvements.

Experience / Knowledge

  • Working within a financial services/asset management/investment operations environment.
  • Employee relations management and current employment law and best practice.
  • Broad HR Generalist remit.
