The OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR is an impactful role providing services to multiple departments within the group. The person reports to the Global Director of People and is responsible for managing the office administration for St. Ives, Cambridgeshire location, supporting recruitment for the Group’s European locations, as well as administration of contracts for the Group. This is a Part-time onsite position. Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Flexibility on hours can be discussed.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and maintain overall office appearance and functionality.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventories.
- Manage logistics for any in-person meetings and events.
- Manage relationships with building vendors and service providers.
- Plan and coordinate staff engagement initiatives and events, including social activities, team-building sessions, lunch clubs, and game launch celebrations.
- Onboarding of new starters.
- Help drive process and build strong work relationships to manage overall retention and engagement.
- Support the Global People Team.
- Management of the relationship with UK's H&S advisors and ensuring compliance to Health and Safety.
- Provide admin support as needed to Legal team.
- Other duties as needed.
Ideally, you have:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant professional experience in an office.
- Ability to think strategically and implement creative solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels in the organisation.
- Comfortable managing competing priorities with precision and organisation.
- Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite a must.
- Ability to do errands as needed with a valid driving licence.
