Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Executive producer, you will be helping to lead the design and development of game mechanics, systems, and features for a PC and console game.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including animators, programmers, and producers, to ensure cohesive and high-quality game design.
- Work with animation team to ensure their understanding of core game mechanics and the animations needed to support them,
- Create detailed design documents, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and vision.
- Conduct playtesting sessions and gather feedback to iterate and improve game design.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and support to foster their growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate best practices into game design.
- Balance gameplay elements to ensure a fun and engaging player experience.
- Design and implement Free-to-Play (F2P) game mechanics, including acceptable grind mechanics and core mechanics confirmable with part management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Game development related field.
- 8 years of experience in game design is ideal, but candidates with less experience who possess senior-level skills will be considered.
- Proven track record of shipping successful titles.
- Strong understanding of game mechanics, level design, and player psychology.
- Proficiency with Unreal Engine is essential.
- Experience with PC and console game development.
- Comfortable with working on sports games.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of current gaming trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multiplayer and online game design.
