Nursery Assistant Apprenticeship

What You’ll Do

• Safeguard all children within the establishment
• Assist with mealtimes and preparation
• Monitor children’s wellbeing and report issues in the staff book, passing them on to the safeguarding officer
• Liaise with parents and carers regarding feedback on children’s daily activities
• Ensure the nursery is well‑maintained and tidy
• Assist with toilet training
• Promote the wellbeing of children

Training Outcome

Upon successful completion as an apprentice, you will be able to progress in-house to a Room Leader role.

Working Arrangements
