An experienced Quantity Surveyor Cost Manager is needed to work on various projects based from Maidenhead, Berkshire. In particular, an experienced cost management professional is needed with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with experience of working on large scale commercial fit out and construction projects. The right candidate will have 2 years post-qualification / post chartership experience and have knowledge and experience of working in the commercial sector and understand the challenges of delivering commercial schemes.

You will report to a Director, work as part of a wider team as well as working with the project delivery design team and client organisation.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assisting the delivery of entire fit out and construction projects
  • Helping to develop cost management strategy and its delivery
  • Producing cost plans and costs reports
  • Manage Risk processes and Value Management
  • Tracking and documenting changes
  • Preparing formal project progress reports
  • Liaising with the client, contractors and designers
  • Attending and chairing meetings

  • Possess a strong track record of delivering projects
  • Have experience of working with design teams
  • Have experience of working within an Inter-disciplinary organisation
Qualifications/Educational Requirements

Must be professionally qualified in Quantity Surveying – MRICS.
