An Intermediate Quantity Surveyor is being sought by a unique Main/Sub Contractor to work from their office in Macclesfield, Cheshire. The successful candidate will be second in command on a number of student accommodation and Decent Homes refurbishment and new build projects across the UK. Such projects are typically valued up to £1.5m. This role is predominantly office based; site visits take place fortnightly.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting directly to the Commercial Manager. When working on refurbishment projects, my client acts as a main contractor. However, when working on new build projects, my client acts as a sub contractor. Thus, your responsibilities will differ somewhat depending on the project which you are working on at the time.

- Main contractor experience is essential
- Experience working on residential new build or refurbishment projects is desirable, however, candidates with build experience in other sectors will be considered.
- Organised
- IT literate
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
Degree or similar equivalent in Quantity Surveying or similar relevant discipline is highly desirable.
