We are exclusively recruiting for an Associate Quantum Expert to be based in a Leeds office, of a top end Expert Witness sector consultancy. You should have experience in the Expert Witness sector and be able to support lead Experts on high value and complex construction disputes arising in the UK and overseas markets.
You will work on high value and complex construction disputes arising in the UK and overseas markets, in various project sectors.
Responsibilities and DutiesThe role available is to work as an Associate within the business providing support to a lead Expert on major construction disputes. You will initially act as a “number 2” to a lead Expert, whilst mentoring Consultants at the business that assist in writing Expert Reports. You will be integral in analysing documents at an expert level and assessing any grounds for negligence or unreasonable pricing and reporting these findings. The majority of this work will relate to the Arbitration and Litigation process of major claims and disputes. During a year, you will likely be involved in multiple large scale projects and the role will offer exposure to an exciting variety of project sectors.

- Strong Quantity Surveying background, enabling and assisting in the continuance of high calibre Quantum Expert witness services by the company
- Larger project experience is preferred
- Strong continuity at previous employers
- Degree qualified
- MRICS or FRICS
