A Managing Quantity Surveyor is being sought by a Tier 1 Main Contractor to oversee multiple school projects in Harrow and Barnet, London, with values in excess of £8,000,000. The successful candidate will be overseeing both new build and refurbishment projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Contract administration
- Subcontractor management
- Conducting measurements
- Cost value reconciliations
- Variations (compensation/additional time/additional works)
- Preparation of claims
- Preparation of final accounts
- Issuing Interim payments certificates
Desired Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Extensive experience working on build projects
- IT Literate
- The ability to use your own initiative

- Excellent contractual knowledge
- Experience working on commercial build projects is an advantage, but not essential for this role
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
