Our Adult Learning department is expanding and we are excited to announce that we are looking for an additional team member to join the department as a Lecturer in French on a part time basis.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lecturer in French to join our dedicated team.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic tutor to deliver engaging French lessons as part of our adult leisure learning programme. These are non-accredited courses, designed to support adult learners with personal development, cultural enrichment, and conversational language skills in an informal, inclusive setting.
Main Duties for this role include
To plan teaching, learning and assessment for college programmes using the appropriate college format to ensure effective learning.
To deliver teaching and learning to at least a consistently good or outstanding standard to achieve high success rates.
To assess learners informally through observation, class participation, and feedback, supporting their individual progress and enjoyment. As these are non-accredited leisure courses, there are no formal qualification outcomes
To comply with all college quality assurance procedures as prescribed by the Head of Adult & Quality to ensure the achievement of all internal and external audits
To use all appropriate resources effectively to ensure that the learners’ experience results in positive learning outcomes and high professional standards.
To support learners progress through personal tutoring and to help learners achieve their full potential and progress appropriately.
