Administration duties to include but not limited to, customer service, planning support, driver & sub-contractor liaison, communicate with shipping lines, inter depot liaison and customs paperwork preparation & distribution. TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN ON ALL ELEMENTS.
Ideally you will have experience working in a busy office environment, but we tend to focus more on mindset than skill set. Our Warrington Depot is expanding and we are looking to add a quality candidate to our existing team, to help us maintain our excellent service levels for existing and new customers.
What skills do you require?
- Excellent communication skills both verbally & written - essential
- Organisational skills, adhering to deadlines, prioritising workloads - essential
- PC skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook - essential
- Ability to problem solve whilst remaining calm - essential
- Previous experience working in a logistics environment - desirable
- Strong geographical knowledge - desirable
Working pattern: Monday to Friday & Tuesday to Saturday a week about, 8-hour shift between 07:00-19:00. Due to the nature of our business, flexibility in working pattern may be required to meet operational requirements.
