About the role

This is a full-on role, initially you will learn how a transport office functions. The successful applicant will be using a bespoke traffic system as well as internet-based customer programmes. Booking orders, raising worksheets, dealing with customers and drivers will be a key part of the role. Once you have mastered the basics, it's time to move on to planning; the planning function is crucial to maintain the extremely high standards we offer to our customers. Flexibility in working pattern may be required to meet operational needs on occasion. We are looking for quality people to step up and become valued members of our expanding team at our Warrington Depot.

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 17:00 - 01:00

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience of working in a logistics environment planning or transferrable skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Customer Service, exceeding customers expectations
  • Positive attitude, with the ability to remain calm
  • Willingness to learn
  • Organisational skills are paramount, adhering to deadlines, prioritising workload
  • Be part of the team, work together
