Your new role

We are looking for an experienced planner to join our existing team in Bellshill. This is a pivotal role; you will need to be confident in your abilities and hit the ground running in a busy traffic office. You will be responsible for real-time planning, driver and vehicle allocation, and ensuring the smooth execution of our deliveries. You will assist drivers, customer service, warehouse staff, keeping the operation on track and responding to challenges as they arise. This is a demanding role which requires previous planning experience, a positive attitude, problem solving skills and a calm nature even whilst working under pressure.

What skills do you require?

  • Experience in planning, driver & vehicle allocation
  • Ability to manage live operational changes, delays & issues in real time
  • Eagerness to learn new skills, a can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally & written
  • Organisational skills are paramount, adhering to deadlines, prioritising workloads
  • PC skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook

Working pattern

Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:00. Due to the nature of our business flexibility in working pattern may be required to meet operational requirements.
