Maxgear Limited is a growing eCommerce business selling directly to consumers in the UK and internationally. Our leading cycling brand, Velochampion, has seen steady growth across multiple Amazon marketplaces, and we are now focused on expanding our market share further. To support this growth, we’re seeking a proactive eCommerce Executive to join our fast-paced, close-knit team. This role is ideal for someone with Seller Central experience and design skills to contribute to eCommerce and marketing work.

The successful candidate will support the Marketing and Product Manager in optimizing product listings across various marketplaces, both domestic and international. We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience using Amazon Seller Central, ideally in international markets to optimise listing images and text using keyword research. If you’re motivated and eager to grow, this is a great opportunity to join a market leader in the sports industry.

We are looking for applicants based in North-West England, to facilitate in-person meetings 2-3 times per month in Bury, Greater Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize product listings on Amazon Seller Central with some occasional work on additional sale channels - Walmart, Shopify and eBay.
  • Conduct keyword research to ensure our branded products are listed and optimised to the highest standards regulations of each marketplace.
  • Create digital assets such as infographics, banners and videos to feature on marketplaces which will enhance the Brand’s visibility and optimise sales.
  • Assist with the launch of new products worldwide.
  • Work in accordance with the Company’s pre-defined requirements to ensure a consistent brand identity across all sales channels.
  • Monitor product listings alongside the Marketing and Product Manager to help produce reports to measure sales performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to ensure our content is in line with industry trends.
  • Provide support and assistance to customers making enquiries via our helpdesk system.
Skills and Experience:
  • Educated to A-Level, you will have at least 2-3 years’ experience within a similar function.
  • Minimum 2 years of working on Amazon Seller Central (UK and International) plus knowledge of other eCommerce platforms such as Walmart, eBay and Shopify.
  • Proven experience of listing optimisation and keyword research.
  • Experience of managing listings in international markets. Knowledge of an additional language would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience of bulk uploads on marketplaces to implement listing and price changes.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to create and produce creative artwork using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Photography, video and editing skills would be advantageous to help improve listing content.
  • Proven organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience with applications such as Linnworks and Helium10, in addition to Amazon Seller Central, will be advantageous.
  • A background or interest in sport is desirable. Experience of working in the sports industry (in particular cycling, running or triathlon) would be beneficial.
