We’re looking for a Contract Manager or Paralegal to join our in‑house legal team supporting our Defense & Intelligence business worldwide. This is not a back‑office role. You’ll be close to the action, working directly with senior stakeholders, contributing to commercial strategy, and helping land complex, high‑value deals. At the same time, you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to manage the detail that gets those deals done.

Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from bid support through to contract award, execution and close-out.
  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including government contracts, commercial agreements, NDAs, and licensing deals.
  • Support proposal development by reviewing terms and conditions and contributing to commercial strategies.
  • Identify and manage contractual and regulatory risk in complex, multi‑jurisdictional environments.
  • Support IP and licensing matters, including data rights, ownership, and technology use.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and help ensure compliance with defense regulations, export controls, and security requirements.
  • Keep contracts moving, managing amendments, tracking obligations, and maintaining accurate records.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, LPC, or a related field.
  • Experience in contract management, paralegal work, or a similar role.
  • A commercial mindset - you understand that contracts are about enabling business, not blocking it.
  • Strong understanding of legal principles, particularly in regulatory compliance and contract law.
  • Strong grounding in contract law, compliance, and risk management.
  • Exposure to IP, licensing, or data rights is highly desirable.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Able to operate independently while working closely with senior stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working across several time zones and operating on a globally disparate team.
Preferred Qualification
  • Experience in a regulated or complex environment (defense, aerospace, tech, government, or similar).
Why this role
  • Real responsibility early – work directly on high‑impact, global deals.
  • Executive exposure – collaborate with senior leaders across legal, commercial, and delivery teams.
  • Global experience – support programs across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Career acceleration – build expertise in defense, technology, and complex contracting.
  • Meaningful work – contribute to mission‑critical programs with real‑world impact.
Additional requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
  • Comfortable working in highly regulated and secure environments.
