If you're ready to step into a genuinely influential Paraplanner position with senior responsibilities, this is an opportunity to join a respected wealth management practice where your technical expertise will directly support advisers, develop junior colleagues and help shape the quality of financial planning delivered to clients.
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to strengthen their technical capability following the departure of a long-standing team member. Working alongside Financial Advisers and a team of junior paraplanners, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting complex client cases whilst acting as the first point of contact for technical guidance across the paraplanning function.
Whilst you'll naturally mentor and support less experienced colleagues with complex cases and technical queries, your primary focus will remain on delivering high-quality financial planning support and helping advisers achieve the very best outcomes for their clients.
- Work closely with Financial Advisers to develop suitable financial planning solutions aligned to client objectives
- Research and analyse investment, pension, retirement, tax, protection and estate planning solutions
- Produce accurate illustrations, comparisons and supporting technical documentation
- Ensure reports and recommendations meet regulatory and compliance standards
- Support the ongoing quality and technical standards of the paraplanning team
Minimum 5 years' paraplanning experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum)
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, retirement planning, tax and protection
- Experience using financial planning research and cashflow modelling software
- Comfortable producing detailed suitability reports and complex financial planning recommendations
You'll become a trusted adviser to both Financial Advisers and junior paraplanners alike, working on interesting and complex financial planning cases within a supportive team environment.
Please note this is a fully office-based position, reflecting the collaborative way the business works across its advisory and support teams.
If you're an experienced Paraplanner looking for a long-term opportunity where your expertise will be recognised and your technical knowledge will have a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
