CRM Marketing Executive Bury, Lancashire £32,000 - £35,000 + Excellent Benefits Are you a hands-on CRM or lifecycle marketer who enjoys building, testing and improving, not simply operating a system somebody else has already perfected? An established and growing consumer products business is investing in a more connected digital ecosystem, including a new website platform, marketing automation, a growing community of trade customers and developing paid and SEO programmes. It is now looking for a CRM Marketing Executive to turn that investment into measurable customer engagement and commercial growth. Working within a growing marketing team, you will run the customer-facing engine room of the digital operation. Your initial focus will be CRM and lifecycle activity, although the role is designed to broaden over time into website performance, SEO, paid media insight, customer discovery and conversion. You'll take ownership of CRM, email marketing, customer journeys, first-party data and performance reporting, with the freedom to identify what is missing, propose improvements and put them into practice. As part of this genuine build opportunity, you'll receive direction and support from the Digital Lead, but you'll be responsible for designing the finished playbook. Key Responsibilities · Building and managing customer segments, automated journeys and email campaigns using Zoho. · Growing community sign-ups and improving the quality and usefulness of first-party customer data. · Analysing information from CRM, campaigns, distributors and internal systems, turning it into clear commercial recommendations. · Producing regular KPI reports and investigating specific customer or business performance questions. · Identifying trends across products, campaigns and distributor performance and recommending appropriate next steps. · Supporting campaign planning with audience, segmentation and performance insight. · Briefing and reviewing work delivered by SEO and paid media agencies, ensuring activity is properly executed and measured. · Making website changes that improve customer journeys, product discovery and conversion. · Running a consistent programme of tests and experiments, capturing what worked, what did not and what should happen next. You may already have created customer journeys, segmentation or reporting from scratch, or you may be ready to take what you have learned within a larger team and own it for the first time. Skills & Experience · Around two to three years' experience in a digital, CRM, lifecycle or customer marketing role. · Hands-on experience with a CRM or marketing automation platform such as Zoho, HubSpot, Mailchimp or Klaviyo. Zoho experience would be helpful but is not essential. · A sound understanding of email marketing, including segmentation, deliverability, automation and performance improvement. · The ability to turn data into decisions and explain how your analysis has influenced action or improved performance. · Strong spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables, lookups and clean data structuring. · An understanding of how CRM, email, websites, paid media and SEO connect across the customer journey. · Experience of testing, learning and optimisation, with an interest in why results changed rather than simply what the numbers were. · Initiative, sound judgement and the confidence to bring forward ideas without waiting for detailed instructions. · Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with commercial, creative and marketing colleagues. Experience within B2B, trade, distribution or an agency environment would be useful, however, sector experience and formal marketing qualifications are not essential. Practical ability, potential and a genuine builder mentality matter more. As you demonstrate your capability and initiative, there will be genuine scope to expand your involvement into broader digital performance, customer discovery, SEO and paid media insight. Benefits include hybrid working (after probation), 22 days' holiday, increasing with length of service, plus your birthday off, private healthcare, a 4% employer pension contribution and life assurance worth four times your annual salary. The company's modern offices offer free parking and complimentary on-site electric vehicle charging. If you are ready to move beyond maintaining somebody else's CRM programme and want the ownership to shape, build and improve one, we would love to hear from you. Apply now! TPBN1_UKTJ
