An established and highly regarded air conditioning specialist is seeking an experienced FGAS-qualified Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished engineer with strong installation experience to join a stable, well-run business with an outstanding reputation for quality workmanship and customer service.

You will enjoy plenty of variety, working with an extensive client base that includes retail, industrial, commercial and residential customers of all shapes and sizes. Projects range from smaller domestic installations and independent retail premises through to larger commercial buildings and complex industrial environments.

The position is predominantly field based, covering Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, with occasional travel further afield. Engineers travel directly from home to site in a fully equipped company van.

  • Install a wide range of air conditioning systems across retail, industrial, commercial and residential properties
  • Manage installations from initial preparation through to commissioning and completion
  • Carry out commissioning, testing and final system checks
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues arising during installation
  • Liaise professionally with customers, contractors and other trades on site
  • Occasionally assist with servicing and maintenance work

Strong, demonstrable air conditioning installation experience is required. You should be confident completing installations with minimal supervision and have a good knowledge of commissioning and fault-finding procedures. Comfort in adapting to different properties, project sizes and customer requirements is essential.

A full UK driving licence is necessary.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and dependable engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality installations. You should enjoy the variety of moving between different environments and be equally comfortable working in a private home, retail premises, commercial building or industrial facility.

Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. The company places genuine importance on work-life balance and does not operate a high-volume, rushed approach to installations.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £48,000, depending on experience, together with a company van, mobile phone and private healthcare following successful completion of probation.
