Are you a highly organised construction professional who enjoys pulling the detail together and keeping projects running smoothly from the very earliest stages? An ambitious and growing residential design-and-build business in South East London is to recruit a hands‑on Project Management Office Coordinator to become the glue across procurement, tendering, early‑stage cost planning and site coordination.
This is a genuinely varied role. It’s not a pure Project Manager position and not a pure Quantity Surveyor role. Instead, it’s ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating people, information and materials, keeping projects organised and ensuring everything is in the right place at the right time as sites move from concept to construction.
You’ll work closely with the build and design leadership team, supporting projects from early viability through to delivery on site, with a particular focus on pre‑start organisation and ongoing logistics. You’ll support the build leadership team across the full project journey, with a strong emphasis on pre‑construction planning, procurement and site logistics once works are underway.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinating tendering and subcontractor procurement, issuing packages and securing multiple prices per trade
- Building preferred subcontractor pricing into scopes of works and supporting supplier and subcontractor sourcing
- Supporting early‑stage project viability, logistics planning and cost input at Stages 2‑4
- Developing outline and detailed cost plans as design information progresses
- Managing order logs, tracking orders, deliveries and associated invoices
- Supporting site set‑up and coordinating suppliers and subcontractors throughout construction
- Carrying out regular site visits to keep works flowing and ensure materials are scheduled at least two weeks ahead
- Liaising with Building Control and chasing final certificates for H&S and compliance records
- Producing valuations and variations and supporting budget tracking with the senior team
- Assisting with programming, RFIs and coordination across build and design leadership
- Experience of coordinating projects within a construction or build environment (residential experience is a strong advantage) from an administrative support perspective
- Comfortable with subcontractor procurement, tendering and managing site logistics
- Naturally organised, proactive and confident handling multiple moving parts
- Happy to be hands‑on within a small, growing business environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence working across both office and site settings
This is a wonderful opportunity for a highly organised support professional that enjoys being central to the delivery process, taking ownership of coordination and logistics and playing a key role in the smooth delivery of high-quality residential projects. With scope to grow alongside the business, this role offers real variety, responsibility and genuine progression. Apply now!
