SEE Trainer
Be part of the team at MAX and support people on their learning journey.
We are expanding our team and would love you to join us!
You will play a key part in the learning experiences of our students and be part of the successful delivery of the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program.
- Deliver language, literacy, numeracy & digital skills training
- Be part of making a difference in the community
The Opportunity:
- Use your experience to engage students, use effective learning techniques and maintain a student centred approach
- Identify barriers to learning to support student attendance
- Bring learning to life for students and use different forms of communication to gain positive outcomes
- Conduct pre-training assessments and implement training to meet contract requirements
About you:
- Ability to work with diverse participants
- Be a driven, supportive, and community-minded person, working with learners and, in some regions, non-English speakers to support them in building future opportunities for themselves through learning
- Able to motivate and upskill jobseekers to improve their LLN skills to complete education and gain employment
- Have the capacity and desire to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment at any given time
- Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within the vocational area
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of TESOL with current TAE or an undergraduate degree or teacher qualification with a Graduate Diploma of Education or postgraduate TESOL
- Knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework preferred
