Wholesale Showroom Placement / Internship – London
Max Mara Fashion Group is recognised throughout the world as the precursor of modern pret‑à‑porter fashion. We are currently seeking a full time intern for the MaxMara wholesale showroom team at our London head office, starting from 16 March 2026 until 18 September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for any students looking to explore different roles in the luxury fashion industry. Applicants must be on a placement year or require an internship for their university credits.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sample Management: Unpacking, inventorying, pricing and merchandising samples for new collections; cataloging key account samples for photoshoots and staff trainings; assisting with press sample requests alongside the showroom coordinator; ensuring samples are organised and stored in perfect condition at all times.
- Showroom Support: Working with the showroom coordinator to ensure the highest service and operational standards are being met at all times, especially in the reception area; support setting up the showrooms for the selling campaign alongside the VM team; ensure visual merchandising standards are always adhered to across all brands; managing refreshments for appointments during the selling campaign; processing deliveries and dispatching of samples and parcels while keeping digital records of any moving stock; supporting the showroom manager with out of campaign activities such as staff training, press day, editorials, and any ongoing projects.
- Operational Activities: Assisting in appointments where required with sales managers; support sales manager with client orders during campaign – tracking changes on buy sheets / entering provisional orders, reviewing key account sell through reports; order checking towards the end of campaign with the sales managers and logistics team; support on store visits with VM store visits / pop ups etc.
Ideal Candidate Key Technical Skills:
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Good understanding of Excel and effective use of Word is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to successfully and confidently interact with all stakeholders, at all levels.
