We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager for our Max Mara Flagship Store in London. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, strongly goalāoriented professional with several years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager within fashion and/or luxury companies, preferably in a structured retail organization.
The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for maximizing sales in line with company standards by guiding, motivating, and supporting the professional growth of the onāfloor team. They will ensure that staff allocation is effective and aligned with store traffic and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Ensuring that the quality and quantity objectives assigned by the Store Manager are met.
- Facilitating the professional development of the team in coordination with the Floor Managers.
- Achieving store productivity targets set by the Store Manager.
- Identifying effective solutions to adjust staff presence on the floor according to customer needs and market trends.
- Supporting the development of managerial skills among Floor Managers.
- Contributing to team motivation in collaboration with the management staff.
- Ensuring that one or more department backups are trained and developed to guarantee role coverage.
- Collaborating with the Store Manager on the effective commercial management of ināstore events.
- Supervising the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Encouraging participation in onātheājob training through proactive initiatives, teamwork, and digital tools aimed at fostering innovation and improving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Promoting and enhancing the use of digital technologies for process management and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adopting behaviours and promoting operational and cultural actions linked to Sustainable Development, with attention to environmental care, business process improvement, and community engagement.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is considered a plus.
- Excellent personal presentation and communication skills.
