The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 ÂŁ per year.
We are looking for a Controller to join our dynamic finance team. This role is crucial in
managing financial planning, reporting, and analysis for our B2C e-commerce and UK/IRE
operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial
reporting tools such as SAP, and experience in budget forecasting, variance analysis, and
profitability assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Budget, Forecast & Performance Reporting – B2C e-commerce
Prepare and update the B2C e-commerce P&L.
Analyze variances against budget and last year’s performance for each brand.
Upload budget data into BW system.
Support the CFO in presenting budget reports to the Board.
Perform P&L preparation for UK & IRE operations on BW system.
Allocate unassigned P&L lines and analyze all divisions Wholesale, Retail, and
Generate division-specific P&L reports and present financial insights to HQ.
Prepare store and wholesale P&L for CFO/CEO review.
3. Cost Centers & Profitability Analysis
Conduct quarterly analysis of cost centers and profitability trends.
Identify key variance drivers and propose strategic action plans.
Assist HQ & CFO in tracking cost deviations.
Reconcile and analyze stock devaluation
Analyze stock versus last year’s performance.
Prepare and present inventory reports to CFO, HQ, and auditors.
5. Monthly & Quarterly Reporting
Generate aged receivables reports.
Submit Intrastat declarations for UK & Ireland.
Submit monthly retail sales data to the survery ONS
Conduct quarterly duties reporting & end of season returns provisions.
Prepare financial entries for jobber sales, sample sales
Prepare bad debt provisions
6. Operations Support & Year-End Audit
Assist CFO with daily financial operations and year-end audit processes.
Develop cash flow budgets and gross margin analysis.
Prepare competitor benchmarking reports.
Compile payment report practices for CFO & HMRC submission.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
Strong knowledge of SAP, BW, and Excel (Pivot Tables).
Experience in eCommerce financial operations is a plus.
Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic insights.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
