Attention Aspiring Solicitors! We have an exciting opportunity for an additional ambitious Paralegal to work in our Commercial Property and Commercial Department. Experience is preferred but the position is suitable for an LPC or Law Graduate and ongoing training will be provided.
Duties will include:
- Research, drafting, general support and assistance as required for solicitors and senior fee earners predominantly in our Commercial and Litigation department but across the firm as may be required from time to time.
- Taking instructions, client contact, preparation of documents, drafting letters, liaising with other professionals and third parties.
- Taking on small straightforward client matters with supervision and support, building upon previous knowledge and experience to grow in confidence and competence moving to more complex matters in due course.
- Assistance with administrative and practical tasks across the firm including helping set up meetings and training sessions and witnessing Wills.
- Compliance with procedures as appropriate for efficient and effective workflow and regulatory matters within the firm.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in a similar position (at least 6 months) or a Law graduate with an LPC or aspirations to become an SQE candidate.
- Enthusiastic, ambitious, resilient and proactive with excellent attention to detail.
- Willing to take on responsibilities (with suitable supervision and support) and take all opportunities for learning and progression.
- Based no more than 15 miles from our offices in Wootton Northampton at the time of application.
