We are recruiting for an experienced CNC/Manual Machinist to join our amazing team in Bristol. The role will include CNC lathe and mill programming, setting and maintenance work on a variety of assets.

Duties include:

  • Operating small to large machine tools whilst manufacturing complex components across a variety of different materials.
  • Being a paragon of health and safety and responsible for following processes to deliver a quality product.
  • Championing Lean & 6 Sigma work and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Being a creative team player, able to work autonomously on your own as well as with a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical and project professionals.
  • Exemplifying problem solving, either by creating CNC programmes or by your quality control and inspection skills.

Experience:

  • Time served or demonstrably experienced machinist in the manufacturing industry with knowledge of programming, setting and various machining techniques, processes and equipment.
  • Knowledge in various milling techniques and processes.
  • Experience with programming and Lean 6 Sigma will be a bonus, but training will be arranged if required.
  • Experience in reading technical drawings and engineering specs.
