We are recruiting for an experienced AC & DC Motor Engineer to join our amazing team in Bristol. The role will include:

  • Fitting and assembling, balancing and testing newly built motors as well as repairs for commercial and defence applications.
  • Time served or demonstrably experienced in assembling and repairing AC & DC motors.
  • Experience in reading technical drawings and engineering specs.
  • Balancing rotors to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Conducting testing and quality checks on completed units.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on a range of motors.
  • Working on equipment used in both commercial and defence applications.

Additional skills:

  • Be a paragon of health and safety and responsible for following processes to deliver a quality product.
  • Be a creative team player, able to work autonomously on your own as well as with a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical and project professionals.
  • Exemplify problem solving and time management.
  • BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering would be desirable but not essential.
