We are recruiting for an experienced AC & DC Motor Engineer to join our amazing team in Bristol. The role will include:
- Fitting and assembling, balancing and testing newly built motors as well as repairs for commercial and defence applications.
- Time served or demonstrably experienced in assembling and repairing AC & DC motors.
- Experience in reading technical drawings and engineering specs.
- Balancing rotors to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Conducting testing and quality checks on completed units.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on a range of motors.
- Working on equipment used in both commercial and defence applications.
Additional skills:
- Be a paragon of health and safety and responsible for following processes to deliver a quality product.
- Be a creative team player, able to work autonomously on your own as well as with a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical and project professionals.
- Exemplify problem solving and time management.
- BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering would be desirable but not essential.
