Block Property Manager required for an established Estate Agency near Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush. £35k - £45k DOE.

If you're an Assistant Block Manager, or an experienced Block Manager looking for a new challenge, my client is looking for you. If you've got strong communication skills, awareness of service charge, leases, and demised areas and enjoy Block Management to provide exceptional customer service, read on.

Client: A well-established property company with a strong team and reputation who provide 5-star service to clients, and an environment for you to thrive and grow in. They'll support you through industry qualifications, and they want you to find a place you enjoy working at.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting annual service charge budgets
  • Reviewing previous expenditure and forecasting future expenditure
  • Obtaining quotes and instructing maintenance works
  • Overseeing maintenance contracts
  • Liaising with Leaseholders and attending to general enquiries
  • Liaising with clients on matters that require instruction and attending to their requests
  • Attending to general administrative matters and undertaking property inspections and completing reports
  • Attending client meetings including AGM’s, which can sometimes be in the evenings
  • Liaising with property professionals including Solicitors, Accountants, Surveyors and Specialist Consultants as required
  • Having awareness of general health and safety issues and following up actions within Fire Risk Assessments, Asbestos Surveys, and Electrical Condition Installation Reports
  • Monitoring portfolio arrears and taking necessary action for collection of service charges
