My client is seeking a RIBA-compliant Employment Mentor for a Part 3 candidate currently completing their PEDR. This is an ideal opportunity for an Architect who is looking for a flexible, low-commitment role with a meaningful impact.
Role Overview
The mentor will provide structured professional support and guidance to my client currently working towards their ARB registration. This is not a full-time or supervisory position, but a professional mentoring and compliance-based role. The time commitment is fully flexible and can be tailored to suit your schedule.
Responsibilities include:
- Quarterly reviews and appraisals (via video or phone)
- Review and approval of PEDR record sheets via the RIBA online platform
- Providing feedback and mentorship aligned with RIBA Part 3 Professional Criteria
- Remote availability (Mon–Fri) via email, WhatsApp or phone for ad hoc support
Requirements:
- ARB-registered Chartered Architect (RIBA Chartered Member)
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in UK architectural practice
- Demonstrated understanding of the RIBA Part 3 Professional Criteria and PEDR process
- Familiarity with UK building regulations, contracts, procurement and practice management
