Following significant growth over the past year, my client is seeking an experienced MRICS/FRICS/AssocRICS with VRS registration Residential Surveyor Area Manager with strong people and leadership skills.
Your Role as a Residential Surveyor Area Manager
- You’ll lead, inspire, and mentor a team of Residential Surveyors to achieve high quality L2 and L3 surveys with excellent customer satisfaction and performance.
- With a predominantly remote workforce, you’ll focus on maintaining engagement and communication through regular support.
- You’ll represent the Client brand, promoting their services, and work closely with Operations, Bookings, Audit, and Compliance teams to maintain the highest professional standards.
- You’ll also continue to undertake surveys and valuations to stay hands-on and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day queries and ensure consistent service quality across your region.
- Support and mentor new starters during onboarding.
- Coach and develop team members through regular contact, events, and team meetings.
- Collaborate with internal departments to maintain service and quality standards.
- Support improvements to survey templates, products, and audit policies.
- Implement updates related to RICS, Home Survey Standards, and new technologies.
- Undertake L2 and L3 surveys while dedicating up to 5 days per month for team visits or technical support.
- Assist with complaints handling and provide cover for colleagues when required.
Strongly Desired:
- Experience using iPads and surveying apps.
- Confident presentation and communication skills.
Package:
- £60,000 - £70,000+ basic dependent on experience.
- Bonus.
- Car allowance and mileage cover (own car is necessary).
- Equipment provided.
- Monday – Friday.
- 25 days + bank holidays.
- Company socials.
