About Maverick Diagnostics: Based in Wrexham, Wales, Maverick Diagnostics is a trailblazer in the automotive aftermarket industry, specialising in dealer tools, technical support and training, and vehicle technical services. Our team provides remote support, ensuring that all products—from hardware to software—are operating at peak efficiency. We’re at a pivotal moment. Our business is evolving and is moving toward a more digital, web-driven model with better use of our systems and customer data.

You will be a great fit at Maverick Diagnostics if you value the following: Respect, Positivity, Results, Teamwork, Excellence in Customer Relations, Continuous Learning and Innovation.

About the job: This is a hands-on sales role with genuine growth potential for the right person. You’ll be joining at a time when there’s real commercial ground to cover: inbound leads to convert, accounts to develop and previous customers to engage.

You’ll proactively work our CRM and customer database, identify opportunities, and build lasting relationships. As you prove yourself, your responsibilities will grow with the business. As the business grows, this role is intended to evolve into a senior commercial position with broader responsibility.

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Proactively engage dormant customers using our CRM and sales database
  • Handling inbound enquiries and converting leads into orders
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
  • Working across our web-based and distribution sales channels
  • Using our internal systems and product knowledge base to advise customers on the right solutions
  • Helping to shape and improve our sales processes and workflows
  • Reporting on pipeline, activity, and results in a way that gives the business real visibility

As you grow into the role, you’ll:

  • Take ownership of key accounts and larger customer relationships
  • Contribute to sales strategy and how we target new market opportunities
  • Play a senior commercial role as the business scales with scope for further development

What We’re Looking For:

We’re not necessarily looking for someone with 20 years of experience. We’re looking for someone sharp, self-motivated, and genuinely excited about using modern tools to sell smarter.

  • Previous experience in a sales, account management, or customer-facing role
  • Confident communicator: comfortable on the phone, on email, and face-to-face
  • Proactive and self-starting: you’re happy to pick up the phone and reach out, not just wait for leads
  • Strong IT literacy: you pick up new systems quickly and use them properly
  • Experience using a CRM system (any platform)
  • Organised and methodical: you keep your pipeline tidy and follow through on commitments
  • Commercial awareness: you understand what it means to hit a target and grow a number
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn a technical product range

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with e-commerce, distribution, or technical product sales
  • An interest in diagnostic equipment and the automotive industry
  • A Bachelor's degree

  • Competitive salary
  • Commission structure
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development
