This role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems within water treatment facilities and related infrastructure. Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in water treatment plants and associated facilities.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults using specialised tools and techniques to ensure minimal downtime.
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and multimeters for precise work on electrical circuits.
- Operate power tools including drills, saws, and grinders safely and effectively during installation or repair tasks.
- Collaborate with other technical staff to ensure all electrical installations meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as an electrician within industrial or water sector environments.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in electrical applications.
- Demonstrable electrical experience with a solid understanding of circuits, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
- Relevant qualifications such as City Guilds or NVQ in Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised certification.
