We are looking for a skilled Avaloq Business Analyst to join our Wealth Management / Private Banking technology team. In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between business stakeholders and technical execution teams. You will drive the scoping, functional design, and delivery validation of Avaloq platform enhancements, translating complex business workflows into precise functional specifications without being responsible for writing code.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation: Lead workshops with Front Office, Operations, Compliance, and Risk to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Functional Specification: Translate business needs into detailed Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process maps optimized for the Avaloq ecosystem.
- Technical Liaison: Collaborate closely with Avaloq Developers and Configurator teams to explain business logic and ensure technical designs align with business goals.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Define UAT (User Acceptance Testing) scope, create comprehensive test scenarios, coordinate business testing, and validate features before deployment.
- Change & Production Support: Analyze the impact of change requests, investigate functional production issues, and provide business-level platform support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Avaloq Experience: Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within an Avaloq platform environment.
- Module Expertise: Solid functional understanding of core Avaloq modules (e.g., Wealth Management, CRM, Payments, Securities, Portfolio Management, or Accounting).
- Domain Knowledge: Strong background in Private Banking or Wealth Management business processes and regulatory frameworks.
- BA Toolkit: Expert-level skills in writing business/functional specifications, data mapping, and managing stakeholders across business and IT units.
- Methodology: Familiarity with modern delivery frameworks like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall SDLC.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Experience: Exposure to large-scale Avaloq platform implementations, version upgrades, or migration projects.
- Data Literacy: Basic understanding of relational databases or SQL to assist with data analysis and validation.
