Kantata is seeking a motivated, positive individual to join our Business Development team based in London. In this role you will shape the future success of the Industry Cloud for Professional Services, enabling predictable outcomes, limitless scale, and the workforce of the future. Your role as Business Development Representative plays a key part in driving our mission of putting people first, achieving remarkable client experiences, leading the way, and embracing authenticity.
You will receive industry-renowned training in sales skills, products and the SaaS industry to help you succeed both as a team member and individually. You will use your business acumen to foster new business relationships through outbound calls where you will qualify buying interest, use case, and size of potential accounts to build our sales pipeline and drive leads to our sales organization.
Primary Responsibilities- Work with your paired Account Executive to prospect and create new leads to increase sales pipeline.
- Route qualified opportunities to the sales team by setting appointments.
- Maintain consistent and meaningful prospect outreach via phone, email, and social platforms utilizing Kantata's sales enablement tools.
- Maintain consistent collaboration with your Account Executive on execution of territory, account, and contact planning via marketing and sales initiatives.
- Possess a strong understanding of Kantata's platform, the target market, competition and positioning.
- Successfully manage and overcome prospects' objections and rejections.
- Exceed monthly quota of qualified appointments.
- Be a brand champion and educate prospective clients on Kantata's value proposition.
- Maintain an active social presence on LinkedIn that generates strong brand awareness.
- Recommended experience in selling in an outbound B2B role.
- Recommended experience in technology (ideally SaaS) sales environment.
- Recommended experience with Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, LeadIQ, Google Suite of productivity tools.
- Recommended experience in an environment focused on Account-based sales development.
- Consistent selfâmotivation to improve knowledge and skills through personal development.
- Selfâmotivated and highly driven with the ability to work with limited direction and collaborate with geographically remote team members.
- Ability to converse and engage with seniorâlevel decisionâmakers.
- Social selling skills and techniques are a plus.
- Conducting research via social media or other means to gain insight into prospects' needs.
- Drive to excel in a competitive, numbersâdriven, performanceâbased environment.
- Strong organization and timeâmanagement skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing tasks/priorities.
- A high level of integrity.
This role is a hybrid role with the expectation that you'll be working from our London office 2 times per week. Native / Bilingual German Proficiency is desired whilst Full Professional Proficiency in German will be considered.
