Role overview:

The Disability Assessor role involves carrying out client assessments and producing a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine eligibility for benefits. The DWP makes the final decision. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a well-established, people-focused organisation. You will receive outstanding training and support to ensure you are the best you can be in your new Disability Assessor role.

What we look for:

  • NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year or more broad post-registration experience
  • Someone who is proactive and keen to learn
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Competent IT and computer skills
  • Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
