Maven's work experience week offers first-hand insight into the day in the life of a Mavenite. The programme will focus on communication, employability skills and interview practice to prepare you for future recruitment processes. It will also provide you with a short-term project and work shadowing opportunities in one of Maven’s business areas. This is a unique opportunity for 6th form students who are keen to find out more about Maven, and fire up their professional skills in a friendly and collaborative environment.

To be eligible for this programme, you must currently be studying at secondary school in year 12 or 13. Please note that while you may get the opportunity to network with employees from different areas of the business, including Trading, this is not a Trading-focused programme. This programme is aimed at students who have minimal or no work experience and are looking to gain some guidance on their options after secondary school and some first-hand experience of what life is like at a company like Maven.

We embrace innovative technology in our work, but we want to hear you; your voice, your experiences, your story. Please don't ask AI to write your application from scratch or copy and paste generated answers. You’ll lose the chance to show us what makes you right for this opportunity. We've also found that AI-generated applications often contain incorrect information that will result in your application being unsuccessful.

If you don't live locally to Maven's London office, we will provide accommodation throughout the programme. We will also support with train travel to and from the office where required. Accommodation and travel support is provided at no cost to the student. Further information, including eligibility for accommodation, can be provided upon request.

Please note, whilst you are required to upload a CV, it does not need to be perfect and can instead be a first draft. If you do not currently have one and this is a barrier to applying please reach out to emergingtalent@mavensecurities.com.

Deadline to apply is Tuesday 26th May 2026.
