We are working with a leading professional services firm to recruit an experienced Real Estate Valuer or industry specialist at Manager / Senior Manager level. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Real Estate team, working across a diverse range of valuation assurance and advisory engagements, with exposure to UK and European markets and an international client base.
The role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced senior professionals, develop client relationships and play an active part in the growth of an established Real Estate practice. Hybrid working is available.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the review and assessment of real estate valuations across commercial, residential and development assets, primarily for audit purposes
- Critically assess valuation methodologies, assumptions and supporting evidence, ensuring robust and accurate valuation outcomes
- Undertake valuations and provide specialist real estate advice across tax, transactions, due diligence, restructuring and wider advisory assignments
- Work closely with clients, investors, external valuers, advisers and internal audit teams to deliver high-quality engagements
- Prepare clear, concise valuation reports, presentations and client deliverables, translating complex technical matters into practical insights
- Manage client engagements, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management and quality control
- Collaborate with international teams and other business areas on cross-border projects and advisory assignments
- Support business development through client relationship management, identifying opportunities and contributing to proposals and presentations
- Provide technical guidance, coaching and mentoring to junior team members, supporting their professional development
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- RICS qualified, working towards qualification, or alternatively qualified in a relevant real estate, valuation, finance or related discipline
- Proven experience in commercial real estate valuation, ideally within a professional services, valuation or real estate advisory environment
- Strong knowledge of UK and European commercial real estate markets
- Experience across a range of property sectors
- Working knowledge of valuation methodologies and relevant software, such as "Argus Enterprise", "Argus Developer" or MRI
- Experience of real estate cashflow modelling would be advantageous

- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also taking ownership of assignments and working independently
- Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
