We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Offshore Legal Recruitment Manager, to be based full-time in the Cayman Islands, to lead our client's newly created legal recruitment practice. Relocation from London or Jersey is fully supported. The role offers an attractive, competitive compensation package, full relocation support, and the opportunity to build and grow a new practice area within an established business. This is a rare opportunity to establish and grow a practice in one of the most attractive offshore jurisdictions. You will be supported by a dedicated sourcing and admin team, giving you the freedom to focus on business development, client relationships, and successful placements. With the potential to expand your own team in line with demand, this role offers the scope to make a lasting impact in the offshore legal recruitment market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development of the Offshore Legal recruitment specialism across Cayman, Bermuda, and other offshore markets
- Drive business development, building strong, lasting relationships with law firms and in-house teams
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, with support from sourcers and admin staff
- Mentor and manage junior personnel in sourcing and client management
- Provide market insights and guidance on the offshore legal talent landscape
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven success in legal recruitment (ideally with exposure to offshore markets)
- A deep understanding of the legal industry and its talent dynamics
- A strong track record in business development and client relationship management
- Experience in managing or mentoring more junior recruiters
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- A commercial mindset, adaptability, and the drive to establish a market-leading desk
