Job Description NMC and HCPC professionals eligible to apply. What is on offer as a PIP Disability Assessor? - Excellent starting salary at £42,000pa - Monday to Friday working hours - Full time and part time available (4 or 5 days per week available) - Truro based when working on-site - 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays + the ability to buy or sell 5 more days + pension - Hybrid/home working available - NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided What does the PIP Disability Assessor role involve? The PIP Disability Assessor role will involve you carrying out 3 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You'll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a well-established, people focussed organisation. What we look for; An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year's or more broad post-registration experience Someone who's proactive and keen to learn Excellent oral and written communication skills Competent IT and computer skills Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health Please click “apply” if you are open to hearing more!
