  • Excellent starting salary at £39,500pa to £43,692pa - location dependant
  • Monday to Friday working hours
  • Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)

What does the WCA Functional Assessor role involve?

The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 client assessments per day on behalf of clients seeking WCA (Work Capability Assessment). A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their ability to perform work-related activity. You’ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.

That's the good news; An NMC registered nurse (RGN or RMN) or HCPC qualified Occupational Therapist with 1 year’s or more broad post-registration experience. Competent IT and computer skills. Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health.
