What does the role involve?
The Disability Assessor role will involve you carrying out 3 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person\’s disability or health condition affects their daily life. You’ll listen to their experiences, ask questions, and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That\’s the good news; the DWP makes the final decision, you don\’t. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

What is on offer?
– Excellent starting salary at £37,800pa
– Monday to Friday working hours
– Full-time and part-time available (3, 4, or 5 days per week available)
– Manchester based when working on site

– NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided
What we look for:
- An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist with 1 year’s or more broad post-registration experience
- Someone who’s proactive and keen to learn
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Competent IT and computer skills
- Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
