You must currently live in any of the countries above and have the legal right to work there. As a global company with locations around the world, you can opt to work from home or choose a hybrid approach where we have an office. Employment and contract type is permanent, full-time.

The main purpose of your role: The Client Manager is a target‑carrying individual contributor responsible for the day‑to‑day management, revenue growth, and retention of assigned client accounts. You’ll work closely with the Global Client Partner and Client Services teams to ensure a smooth customer experience. Your role will involve developing strong client relationships, understanding client needs to deliver tailored solutions, expanding Mauve services within accounts, and supporting aftersales queries. Due to the high number of US‑based clients, you may occasionally work outside standard hours to accommodate client time zones.

What will you be doing as the Client Manager?

  • Serving as the primary contact for managed client accounts.
  • Building and maintaining long‑term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Setting up services for new and existing accounts with accuracy and compliance.
  • Identifying upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Generating referrals and securing testimonials, case studies, and endorsements.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Resolving client issues in conjunction with Client Services.
  • Monitoring account performance and providing regular updates.
  • Conducting client check‑ins per Global Client Partner guidelines.
  • Participating in bids and tenders from existing clients.
  • Representing Mauve at domestic and international events, trade shows, and forums (including speaking opportunities).
  • Tracking and reporting client activities using Salesforce.
  • Maintaining Salesforce accuracy and a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Presenting regular reports on account status and performance.
  • Collaborating with Inbound and Outbound teams for smooth client handovers.
  • Providing feedback to marketing via Global Client Partners.
  • Staying informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.

Qualifications:

  • Degree educated or three years’ experience in the Employer of Record (EOR) sector/industry.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

Knowledge and experience:

  • At least three years’ experience in the EOR sector/industry.
  • Experience working for a global organisation.
  • Experience of successfully managing and growing client accounts.
  • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Sage People.
  • At least three years’ demonstrable experience of working in a sales environment or allied service such as business development, client services, or products.
